First question: no-crank or crank-no-start?

No-crank means the engine does not spin normally. Crank-no-start means it spins but will not run. Those are different diagnostic paths.

Common no-crank suspects

Battery state, terminal connections, starter, starter relay, ignition switch, neutral safety/clutch switch, security system, grounds, and wiring faults can all stop cranking.

Common crank-no-start suspects

Fuel delivery, ignition spark, compression, timing, immobilizer/security, flooded engine, sensor signals, and module communication are common paths.

What to text before service

Send a video of the sound when you try to start, dash lights, year/make/model, recent repairs, weather, location, and whether jump-start attempts changed anything.

When to call WrenchWiz

If the vehicle has warning lights, starting trouble, brake concerns, overheating, electrical symptoms, or an uncertain used-car history, call or text WrenchWiz Auto with the vehicle, symptoms, location, and photos. Educational tips are useful, but proper testing protects your wallet.
